The SKE Heavy Duty Wing is an all-steel construction including wings and gussets. It expels excessive build-up of material from the area of belt contact enhancing traction and reducing abrasion of both the belt and pulley. Where abrasion and excessive build-up conditions exist, the heavy duty wing pulley with self cleaning action provides an excellent alternative to conventional drum style pulleys. Available with various hub and bushing systems.

Applications of Heavy Duty Wing Pulley

For aggressive belt cleaning the conventional heavy duty wing pulley has been an industry standard. Its intermittent belt contact produces the impact required to dislodge some of the most problematic material build-up issues. Individual all-steel wings and gussets expel excessive build-up of material from the area of belt contact which enhances traction and reduces abrasion on both the belt and pulley. Where abrasion and excessive build-up conditions exist, the heavy duty pulley with self-cleaning action provides an excellent alternative to conventional drum style pulleys.

• Mounted on the clean side of the belt:
- Eliminating carry back material from building up on the roll
- Maximizing belt steering capability;
• Reduces belt wear by training it in the proper tracking position;
• 6'' Diameter roll with 3/8'' lagging provides optimum belt contact;
• Adjustable brackets allow variable down pressure promoting proper belt contact maximizing the training characteristics;
• Slotted foot pads ensure easy installation;
• Utilizes SKE’s proven idler roll technology.

1. Available in a wide range of sizes from 4'' to 72'' in diameter and face widths up to 66'';
2. 1/4'' x 1'' contact bar on diameters 4'' to 7'' diameters;
3. 1/4'' x 1 ¼'' contact bar on 8'' to 10'' diameters;
4. 3/8'' x 1 ¼'' contact bar on 12'' to 18'' diameters;
5. 1/2'' x 1 ¼'' contact bar on 20'' to 72'' diameters;
